UBCO enters receivership
17 Jan 2025
Today, Stephen Keen and David Ruscoe from Grant Thornton New Zealand Limited were appointed receivers and managers of UBCO Limited and UBCO Holdings Limited. The appointment was made pursuant to two General Security Agreements held by secured noteholders.
The companies designed and produced electric utility motorbikes, with a presence in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the United States.
As there is no funding available, the Receivers have ceased to trade the business of the Companies. The business and assets of the Companies, including stock and intellectual property, are available for expressions of interest.
