In a statement issued by the Company on 26 November 2024, the business said it was unable to continue trading due to unstable operating losses and liquidity constraints.

The Liquidators are working with Verofi to ensure a smooth transition of the operations.

The Liquidators have now started the process of securing, protecting and realising assets for the benefit of creditors, and have personally been in touch with a number of impacted people and entities.

Staff were the first to be informed of Grant Thornton New Zealand's appointment on 26 November 2024 at 4pm.  Staff have been paid up until 26 November 2024 and their employment with the Company has ended.

This is a very difficult time for team members and it is understandable they want answers. However, it is too early in the liquidation to comment on any matters including realisations and investigations. As part of this process, the Liquidators are required to produce regular public reports on their findings. The first of these is due within five business days of their appointment.

Questions about employee or creditor claims, or any other queries for the Liquidators can be sent to: solarzero@nz.gt.com
