Audit of a statement of services performance (SSP)

Increasingly, non-financial information is being included in annual reports. A not-for-profit organisation's fundamental objective is not to generate profit or make a commercial return - it may exist to provide services to the community or its members.

Statements of Service Performance (SSP's) are reports that provide primarily non-financial information recording the performance of the organisation against specified objectives. These reports may be used, if issued publicly, to give the community a better idea of the objectives of an organisation.
