Kerry has gained extensive experience in audit assurance services during the last 18 years including two years working out of the London office specialising in the area of Lloyds Insurance auditing and reinsurance business.

Kerry has worked on a diverse range of audit projects and has covered New Zealand listed companies, private companies, Not-For-Profit organisations and Internal Audit assignments for large corporations. 

Kerry has significant experience with commercial based clients across manufacturing, technology and film media. In addition to statutory external auditing, Kerry’s experience includes internal auditing to document and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems, due diligence for acquisitions of key assets or businesses and management advice to improve systems and processes.

Using this experience Kerry acts as a Team Leader on Grant Thornton International Quality Assurance assignments in the Asia-Pacific region. 

Kerry’s participation in international programs, secondments and New Zealand accounting experience ensures assignments are approached with a high degree of technical capability yet practical application to any business.

Outside interests

When not in the office Kerry enjoys a wide variety of outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking the hills of Wellington or motor cycling the city suburbs as well as water and snow skiing.
