Tim commenced his career with Grant Thornton in 1997, becoming a Partner in 2001.

Tim’s client base consists of successful private and entrepreneurial companies, predominately South Island based, who desire timely and proactive advice on a wide range of commercial issues.

Tim’s clients are well represented across a variety of industries including food and clothing manufacturing, construction, retail, logistics, import distribution and rural.

Tim specialises in leading transaction deals for clients in areas of acquisitions, mergers or disposal. This includes due diligence advice on structure and facilitating the provision of debt and equity finance.

Outside interests

Tim is on the Board of the Isaac Theatre Royal Foundation, a charitable organisation operating the commercial arm of the Isaac Theatre Royal. He is also a Director of Red Bus Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Christchurch City Holdings Ltd.

Tim is married to Emma and has three children: Josh, Lily and Edward.

Tim is interested in all sports and actively participates in multi-sport events and mountain biking.
