Martin has over 18 years corporate finance experience in Asia, New Zealand and Europe and has advised on over 50 transactions with a total value exceeding US$1bn. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Martin held senior management positions within the Corporate Finance division of a global accounting firm in New Zealand and Asia, and was founding director of a Hong Kong based Corporate Advisory business.

Martin has substantial lead advisory expertise with listed and private companies across a wide variety of industries. Key areas of expertise include:

• Disposals, mergers & acquisitions
• Finance raisings
• Due diligence
• Valuations
• Project finance

Outside interests

Martin enjoys travel, sports and reading widely and quality of life through strong friendships and family. Martin is active in community events and participating in the activities of his 3 children.
