Based in Auckland, Alec Flood is a Partner of the Grant Thornton New Zealand Audit division.

Alec has experience in commerce and public practice. His commercial experience includes the chemical industry; financial services and finance director of a privately owned logistics company.

Alec is involved in all aspects of the Audit division including statutory audits and special investigations  He is responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries.

He joined the firm in 1998 and became a partner in 2005.

Outside interests

Alec enjoys spending time with family and friends and is interested in most sports, he is particularly enthusiastic about football both as a participant and spectator.
